Greenpoint Video Project is undergoing changes; This year, we will continue to produce and feature waterfront-related subjects in other boroughs, but under the name North River Productions, we will concentrate on what's happening around Manhattan's waterfront. Upcoming programs will be about the last days of The River Project, and Pier 63 Maritime. Another production will look at innovative public use options for our waterfront.
Movies: This year selected GVP QuickTime movies are being added to this website.

About GVP:
The Greenpoint Video Project, now in its 10th year, produces videos on waterfront-related subjects in North Brooklyn, and beyond, to include citywide waterfront revitalization activities, events, and organizations. In the year ahead, 2008, GVP is considering a name-change to North River Video Productions, to reflect a growing commitment to focus on waterfront revitalization on Manhattan's West Side, along the Hudson. We will continue to follow selected waterfront activity projects around the city.
Productions are broadcast on MNN, Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Channel 34, at 9pm, the 3rd Monday of each month, and on BCAT, Brooklyn Community Access Television, Channel 35 or 68, at 10 pm, the 4th Thursday of each month
Help Support The Greenpoint Video Project
For the past 5 years, GVP's operating expenses have been assisted by a grant from NYCEF, the New York City Environmental Fund, as administered by the Hudson River Foundation. We are pleased to announce a continuation of that support for 2007-8. Inquires about obtaining copies of our programs on DVD and VHS, and to make tax-deductible contributions are welcome. Please contact the producer.
